celebrity eclipse caribbean cruise, 2012

After having the most incredible honeymoon on Celebrity Solstice, Blake and I decided to spend our next vacation on the Celebrity Eclipse.  We visited San Juan, Puerto Rico, Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas, and Philipsburg, St Maarten. Warning: This post is going to be very picture heavy :)

Thanks to Blake's parents, we had champagne waiting for us in our room for our departure.

We were already impressed with the artwork from the Solstice ship, but the art on the Eclipse was somehow even more our style.

This turned into our reading/nap spot.

Blake and I promised ourselves we would try out the gym this time around. Thank goodness we did,  because we saw a WHALE! Bucket list...check!

My reading material for the cruise.

My favorite area on the ship, the martini bar, "Crush." So cute! Very icey, yet whimsical feel to it.  Again, how amazing is this artwork?

This is the Murano speciality dining restaurant.  Blake and I ate here during our honeymoon and couldn't help but return.  The cuisine and staff definitely didn't disappoint.

The elevators are oh so Jetsons!

San Juan, Puerto Rico

El Convento!

Hello, little friend! I'll call you Katniss!

This was one of our favorite views of Old San Juan.  Absolutely stunning.

We just about fell down when we stumbled upon this site.  It felt as though we were in Scotland! This is Castillo San Felipe del Morro.

Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas

Another one of our favorite views. Gorgeous!

This is at Magens Bay.

This family was precious.

Hey there, sexy bartender!

DJ booth at Quasar, where all the nighttime action goes down.

The library.

How cute is this little guy?

This is Michael's Club, where Blake got to dabble in some Scotch and Bourbon tastings.

Hubby wasn't too impressed with his drink.  Laphroaig 10 is a no go.

There's our ship!

                                                                   Philipsburg, St Maarten

This goes to show why Blake calls me Patches. It's freckle season!

The cutest store ever.  It had bubbles coming out of it. Yes, bubbles.

Blake added to his collection!  He got Scotch and I snagged a pair of Marc Jacobs sunglasses.

Now that's a breakfast!

If you look at our honeymoon pictures (here) you will see why we took this picture.  Tradition.

Someone was very happy to have us back home :)  As nice as it is to be back in Houston with our kitties,
Blake and I would give anything to be back on that boat.  We cannot wait until we see you again, Celebrity!
